Car: Chaffey's Locks is 6 miles off of Hwy. 15 on County Rd. #9, which intersects Hwy. 15 roughly 2 miles N. of Elgin or 2 miles S. of Crosby.

From South: I-81 to 1000 Island Bridge to Hwy. 401 W. Take Exit 645 at Hwy. 32 (right); go N. to Hwy. 15, turning right (N).  Stay on Hwy. 15 N. to  a point 2 miles beyond Elgin (bypassed), turning left on Chaffey's Locks Road (see signs for The Opinicon).

From North: Follow Hwy. 15 S. from Carleton Place, through Smiths Falls, Portland and Crosby . Two miles S. of Crosby, turn right on Chaffey's Locks Road.

From West: Hwy. 401 E. to Exit 623 (just E. of Kingston); turn N. (left) on Hwy. 15; continue to 2 miles beyond Elgin, turning left on Chaffey's Locks Road.

From East: Hwy.  401 W. to Exit 696 (Brockville); turn N. (right) on Hwy. 42, continuing to Crosby, turning S. (left) on Hwy. 15, continuing for 2 miles, turning right on Chaffey's Locks Road.

Air: Scheduled airlines land at Ottawa, Watertown (NY),  and Kingston. Smaller airfields at Gananoque, Kingston, and Smiths Falls.

Bus: Bus stops on Hwy. 15 at Elgin, 8 miles away. Pick-up at additional cost may be arranged with prior notice.

Train: Kingston (40 miles) nearest stop.

Boat: Via the Rideau Canal from either Kingston or Ottawa.
